With the iPhone turning 10 years old recently, it's interesting to examine the impact that the technology has had within the digital marketing landscape. In 2007, worldwide mobile advertising spend amounted to a paltry $1.7 billion, whereas this year it will amount to $143 billion. Forbes recently published an interesting article examining this influx and the facets that make it both profitable and user oriented.

"Native advertising" is fully integrated with the publisher content to provide for a seamless experience for the user while also making sure that sponsored content is placed appropriately and targeted to relevant audiences.
